How to Get Rid of Cellulite using DIY Cellulite Treatment

Cellulite Gone – Bikini On
Here are my three top tips on how to get rid of cellulite, including what to avoid doing. I also reveal a new technique that I have personally found to be the most effective permanent cellulite treatment available today, which also improves your overall health and well-being and doesn't require any expensive creams, lotions or treatments.

Ask a sample of women what they think “cellulite” is and you’ll get a wide array of answers, e.g. “buildup of fat under the skin”, “fibrous tissue contracting the skin” and probably a bunch of other strange ideas of what it is.

In truth most women don’t have the slightest idea what cellulite is or what causes this unusual effect on the skin.

However, this is not surprising, as the word “cellulite” was actually dreamed up some decades ago by a group of European beauty spas so that they could profit from “medi-spa” beauty products and services that they offered which purported to alleviate the problem. You probably know already that such treatments, whilst being hyped and heavily promoted don’t do anything to reduce the dimpling on your legs, buns and thighs, and they are super-expensive.

In order to create the smooth, supple legs, thighs and buns that you want, here are three crucial pieces of advice:

1. Cellulite is NOT genetic and it is possible for anyone to get rid of it. Cellulite is caused by muscle structural conditions which can be addressed using a very simple type of very specific body movements, which can be done by any woman regardless of age or physical condition. Other women you know, magazines or your doctor may have told you that cellulite is genetic and hard or impossible to get rid of but this is totally untrue.  Just because a mother and daughter both have cellulite doesn’t mean that it’s genetic - it probably just means that they share similar dietary and lifestyle habits.

2. Creams, lotions and gels DO NOT get rid of cellulite and may make it worse - cellulite is not a defect of the skin, while it appears on the skin it’s cause is in the tissues beneath the skin and so it is impossible to treat this with any cream or lotion. Save your money and your time.

3. “Medi-Spa” cellulite treatments are very expensive, sometimes dangerous and ALWAYS useless for treating cellulite. Services such as Endermologie and body wrapping are a waste of time and money for treating cellulite plus there are documented reports of the dangers of these treatments - women who have been scarred for life because of them.

The only reliable way to get rid of cellulite permanently is to use specific types of movement to strengthen, tighten and lift the muscle under the problem areas. The muscle strengthening will automatically get rid of the dimple skin, plus you’ll be sexier and leaner, with a much better toned body!

But you won’t learn these special movements in a gym because no gym instructor that I've ever met knows anything about this special targeted cellulite removal method - and a general workout program is almost useless for cellulite.  You don’t need to be a member of a gym or club to do these as no weights or exercise machines are needed - you can do them alone or with a friend in your own home (no equipment needed!).

One of the most common misconceptions when it comes to Cellulite is that it comes with age and older women are more likely to develop it. This is simply not true. Unfortunately, adult women and even teenage girls of all shapes, sizes and race are liable to develop cellulite.

This characteristic of cellulite in women is the main reason why cellulite products are promoted to ladies aging from young to old. What this creates is a huge market for cellulite treatments with a variety of different advertising campaigns. These advertising messages can confuse people and leave them baffled as to how to treat cellulite. My aim here on this blog post is to help you to understand what causes cellulite in women of any age group, shape and size.

Why can Cellulite be found in women from young to old?

We will start by examining why cellulite appears in younger women. Although it is less widespread in young women, it is not uncommon. Cellulite in teenage women or women in their twenties is often blamed entirely on genetics. This is only part of the story, here the real issue affecting younger women who have cellulite is their current level of muscle tone or their lack of it in this instance.

The make-up of your body’s muscle tone (also known as residual muscle tension) is the primary reason for cellulite in younger women. A woman’s default muscle tone state is passed down from her parents. If your body is lacking in the adequate natural muscle tone then the skin is more likely to become dimpled and lumpy, which in turn leads to cellulite.

If you suffer from cellulite at a young age then it is clear that your genetic muscle tone is weak. The muscle fibres beneath your skin in the cellulite area has become atrophied and as a result begins to wrinkle the skin above it. Skin will lie flat above well-toned, firm muscles but weak muscle tone does not allow for that.

However, with APPROPRIATE exercises and anti-cellulite treatments, a younger woman can tone her muscles and strengthen them.

This is the only cellulite elimination product that I recommend to my readers.

Now it is time to have a look at the subject of cellulite in older women. I’m going to talk about middle-aged women who are not overweight, maintain a healthy figure, and are content with their appearance.

The most common years for women to start suffering from cellulite is in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Women of these ages who are carrying excess weight will have more pronounced cellulite development, however cellulite can begin to appear in slender women without any significant weight gain (or loss). The reason cellulite is found in middle aged, slender woman is because of their muscle tone, or lack of, as discussed earlier.

As a healthy middle aged woman you may begin to ask:

Where does this come from?

What causes this to happen?

What is really happening to this body of mine?

No need to worry…

There's a straightforward answer, the reason is plain and simple. And the solution is simple also.

Middle age (30s, 40s, and 50s) is the period when body aging accelerates and becomes more evident. The physiological changes taking place lead to physical decline of the body's tissues. The dermis area, under the skin, is conjoined by a series of connective tissues. During middle age, the connective tissue begins to get looser, due to the natural aging process of collagen and elastic fibers.

This allows harmful cells to swell into the dermis area, thus accelerating the appearance of cellulite. Put simply, your muscles get weaker, get smaller, soften and flatten. Without the right exercises, middle-aged women are for this primary reason very prone to cellulite.

These weaker muscle areas will most likely be on the legs, thighs and buttocks. The loose condition of the muscle inside these areas leaves the outer skin with a soft base and this forms the uneven, saggy surface skin that is known as cellulite.

At the end of the day all this shows us that cellulite appearing in an 18 year old as compared to a 55 year all is caused by the same thing: weak, limp muscle tone under the skin in the main cellulite areas - most commonly the legs an thighs.

The clever marketing campaigns deployed all over the media only aim to make you believe that superficial treatments or short term solutions will help you to to eliminate cellulite. However, you are more knowledgeable than that now, you are better informed and you know why cellulite can develop in a woman’s body.

So with cellulite formation being directly linked to the state of the muscle and it's tone under the skin and the aging process of these muscles, the one and only way to counteract this process is with a focused exercise regime that specifically targets the cellulite areas.
A specific exercise program to eliminate cellulite that will stimulate muscle toning is by far and away the easiest, most effective solution, which will have a smoothing effect on your visible outer skin. The response actions of the muscles after exercise have no age limits. Whether you start an exercise regime at a young age or an older age, the results will be positive.

A common question when it comes to cellulite is: Is there an "anti–cellulite" diet out there? The answer is that yes there is, but it more complicated than that…

Let me explain…

There is no such thing as a cellulite-specific diet, only a quality, high-nutrient, low-toxin way of eating. A healthy diet, coupled with the right exercises will keep you healthy and cellulite free. So, you need to supply specific exercises to the muscles under the skin on a regular basis, a diet to combat cellulite does not exist and in my experience will not protect you from cellulite on its own.

If you have yet to watch the video where Joey Atlas shows the 90 muscles that make up your lower body then do now, it will help you understand how stimulating the muscle in your legs, buttocks, thighs and hips will get rid of cellulite (the link to the video is at the end of this article).

If you want to laser-target your cellulite zones and give them the exact type of muscle-movement stimulation they need, then this is where you start and the Naked Beauty-Symulast Method is the best solution I have used and I recommend it whole-heartedly.
